I didn’t know you get free stuff at Chili’s by checking into Foursquare! I recently became a member of foursquare only because my friends had insisted I do so, but the honest truth is that I haven’t logged onto it once nor so I clearly have not checked in to any place I have gone to. I realize that this site influences commonalities and familiarities about people at different locations and how it creates this smaller virtual village to let us know who is eating at what restaurants. I definitely need to explore foursquare. I always thought the main reason for having a foursquare account was to be able to see who else is at such places, but I did not realize the other benefits of having a foursquare account. Thanks for posting this!

Foursquare is really fun! If you become the Mayor if Ian’s Pizza you get a free sald and a drink as well. It is fun to see where people are and I have tried new places because of foursquare. I am also really competitive with check in points with my friends and we have a lot of fun with it. I added you as a foursquare friend! I think you will have a lot of fun earning badges and getting discounts once you get more into it 🙂 I also think it is funny to look back at where I have been. My most visited places this week were academic buildings, bars, and breakfast spots.
